About Lisa Clute

Lisa Clute is a full-time science fiction romance author who writes high-stakes stories filled with fiercely protective alien warriors, strong-willed heroines, and love that spans the universe. Her Abrauxian Brides series blends action, heart, and humor in a vividly imagined universe where anything, especially romance, is possible.

A former microbiologist who once traveled the globe, Lisa now creates alien worlds from her home just northeast of Atlanta. She is also a long-time horror writer with a deep love for the eerie, the creepy, and the monsters that lurk under your bed at night.

Lisa is a proud member of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association, Georgia Romance Writers, and the Atlanta Writers Club. She enjoys connecting with readers and fellow creatives at in-person events, including local writer's groups and book signings.

When she's not writing intense bonding scenes or wrangling fictional Frosthounds, she’s plotting her next interstellar adventure or cozy horror, usually with tea in hand and a Siamese cat on her desk.

Biography

Lisa Clute is a full-time science fiction and fantasy romance author who traded a globe-trotting microbiology career for alien soulmates, fierce heroines, and epic adventures among the stars. Based just northeast of Atlanta, she spends her days writing immersive science fiction and fantasy romance with a focus on richly built worlds, compelling characters, and emotional journeys. 

She is the author of the Abrauxian Brides series, where powerful alien warriors meet their match in smart, fearless women from Earth. Her writing blends heart-pounding action, emotional depth, and a touch of humor, all set against the backdrop of vividly imagined worlds. Stories where love crosses galaxies and nothing is ever quite what it seems.  There’s romance at the heart of every tale, though the heat level stays toward the less spicy side, letting the bonds between characters grow naturally. 

When she’s not writing, she’s usually drinking tea by the gallon, exploring muddy trails in her trusty Jeep Wrangler, or looking for her next favorite book to read.
